Ingredients

50 g Pine nuts
2 A handful of wild garlic
1 EL Olive oil
Unwaxed lemon, juice and zest
200 g Cream cheese
Salt
Pepper
4 Slices of rye bread

Preparation

Toast the pine nuts in a hot pan until golden brown, then set them aside to cool. Rinse the wild garlic, shake off any excess water, and roughly chop it. Blend it together with the oil and half of the pine nuts until smooth. Stir the lemon juice and zest into the cream cheese, then season with additional lemon juice, salt, and pepper to taste. Spread the mixture onto the bread slices and sprinkle with the remaining pine nuts. Optionally, you can halve the bread slices before serving.
